Install the App

- Press
Command+Space
and type Terminal and press enter/return key. - Run in Terminal app:
ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)' < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null
and press enter/return key.
If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish. - Run:
brew cask install google-chrome
On your phone, open the Chrome app. If you haven’t yet, sign in to Chrome. Find the extension that you want. Tap Add to Desktop. Confirm by tapping Add to Desktop. The next time that you open Chrome on your computer, you’ll see a message that the extension was installed. If the extension needs some permissions, you'll be asked.
- Chrome is great for everything and works across all my devices so it’s nice but the app recently changed one of their buttons and is making it a hassle to use. The center button at the bottom of the screen used to pull up the search bar a the keyboard which made it easy instead of having to reach to the top of the screen to tap the omnibar to.
